教师 和 工作人员 can connect their students with employers 和 mentors in the classroom or at 职业服务 events.

Invite 雇主 to the Classroom

雇主 can provide industry insights, 职业建议, employer-specific information 和 answer any questions your students may have. 雇主 和 professionals in the field do a great job at bringing topics 和 jobs to life with real-world examples.

Connect Through 事件

These are great opportunities for students but also great opportunities for faculty 和 staff to attend 和 network themselves.

• Twice a year, once a semester, we host a 招聘会 和 networking nights 通过大学. At University of Idaho Career Fair, we have seen up to 200 employers. Many employers also attend 网络 Night the night before the 招聘会 for a smaller setting to meet with students in a specific college.
• U of I 礼仪的晚餐 is also a great place to connect with employers 和 our students. This event happens every spring semester.
• Join 握手 to view virtual events run by employers that students have access to. This is a great way to stay in the know 和 inform students about employment 和 networking opportunities.
